A Review of Use It Maps

map list

After traveling throughout Europe there was a map who I loved the most. Most first-time visitors of Oporto rarely go beyond the most famous tourist sites from downtown. It’s not surprising: the city is so amazing that the best places are hidden by locals.

For those who have seen the main sites, have more time, or simply have a deeper sense of discovery, there is the Use-It map, pinpointing some more unusual venues in the city – from hidden cafes and popular bars to galleries and music clubs given short thrift or no mention at all in more mainstream guides.

Every map has a brief history, some basic words, food in that region and, of course, the best places to go looking for authentic experiences. Maps change every year so the cities that are now available might not be in the future.

In Portugal you only have 3 cities available. Oporto, Guimarães and Funchal. Coimbra is under construction right now but might be available in the future.

Check their website because you have also many locations in Europe. The most interesting ones are Prague, Brno, Zagreb and Bruges.

I hope you like the maps because they are all similar. Unfortunately, you don’t have all cities listen and available, but you can always trust TripAdvisor for the best tips!
